💔 Are you “Feeling Stuck” in emotional patterns of anger and fear, longing for deeper connections and healthier happier relationships?
✨ Are you “Ready” to shift from hurt to healing? Our online Making Friends With Forgiveness at home practice begins with Awareness-the sacred pause that opens the door to transformation. When you set an Intention from your inner knowing, you create space for healthier, happier relationships, especially the one you have with yourself. 💖
🌿 Here at Making Friends With Forgiveness: Awareness & Intention Setting is the First Step toward healing.
Here we support your inner knowing. It can help you recognize relationships that aren’t making you happy. You may consider the idea of transforming them into healthier, happier ones.
✨ We all carry stories—some tender, some tangled. And often, the pain we hold quietly shapes the way we show up in our relationships. In Module 1, Awareness and Intention is our focus at Making Friends With Forgiveness, we begin with the most powerful shift: The Awareness Shift.
Awareness is the gentle act of noticing. It’s the moment we say, “I see what’s here.” And from that clarity, we set an intention—not to fix everything overnight, but to begin. To listen inward. To trust our inner knowing.
This module invites you to pause, reflect, and set a healing intention. One that honors your truth and opens the door to healthier, happier relationships. Because forgiveness isn’t just about letting go—it’s about choosing to grow.
“I am grateful for my awareness. It is the key to emotional freedom and deeper connection.”
Forgiveness isn’t a destination—it’s a relationship. One we cultivate with ourselves, with others, and with the unseen wisdom that guides us. In Module 1 of Making Friends With Forgiveness, we begin by setting the foundation: awareness and intention. These are the roots from which emotional freedom and deeper connection can grow.
🌟 Awareness: The Gentle Awakening
Awareness is the moment we pause and say, “I see.” Not with judgment, but with curiosity. Not with shame, but with compassion. When in your life did you have that aha moment of recognizing a truth?
When we become aware of our emotional patterns, our triggers, and the stories we carry, we open the door to healing. Awareness is the sacred invitation to meet ourselves exactly where we are. It’s the breath before the breakthrough.
We invite you to Ask yourself:
What am I feeling right now?
Where does this emotion live in my body?
What story am I telling myself—and is it true?
This kind of awareness isn’t passive. It’s active, alive, and deeply empowering.
The truly powerful part of awareness is we catch ourselves behaving in patterns that we just didn’t give a thought to how we came across or how it was perceived by another. This automatic reaction is now a place to grow, and set an intention on how you want your behavior to be, to set the Intention with your Inner Compass guide.
💫 Intention: The Inner Compass (Your Personal Guide)

Once we’re aware, we get to choose where we place our attention. Our attention can then be energetically connected with one’s Intention becoming the compass that points us toward healing, even when the path is unclear. Forgiveness acts as a compass for healing by releasing the grip of past hurts, transforming anger and resentment into a pathway for personal growth and peace. This process is a choice to let go of the emotional burden, not to forget or excuse the hurt or harm, and it frees up energy for positive change and emotional well-being. To use forgiveness as a compass, acknowledge the pain, consciously choose to release resentment, and focus on the healing journey, can lead to greater inner peace and a renewed sense of self.
Setting an intention to forgive doesn’t mean we rush the process. It means we honor it. We say, “I’m willing to begin.” That willingness is enough. It’s powerful. It’s sacred.
Power of Pause, Try this:
“I set the intention to connect with my inner knowing-self. I trust that clarity will come.”
“I set the intention to behave in my relationships in a kind and compassionate way.”
Intentions can be very practical ways to change your perspective and behavior. Do you have an intention that comes to mind? Use your intention that comes to mind, trust your intuition, let it guide you.
🌈 Connecting with Inner Knowing & Getting to Know You
This Somatic Experience/exercise may seem simple and basic but there is the opportunity to create connections that build your “letting go” muscles. Start with finding a spot that feels like you can relax. The environment is important for the body to sense safety. Take time to notice: lighting, temperature, surrounding smells, sounds or anything that could distract you or delight you. Look for colors, smells and things that comfort you. Ask yourself, what does my body want? To sit, to lay down, how can I best support relaxing? As you move into the new position, notice how your body moves, bringing your awareness to the act of shifting positions. Notice how your body supports each move. Set the intention of taking some self-care time, let this not be rushed. Get into the comfortable position, add any movement or support to make it 15% more comfortable. (ie: face masks can be a sweet optic nerve relaxer.) At this time allow yourself to be in this space, feel your body. Feel the weight on the surface, feel the weight of the bones, feel the tension in your muscles, scan the body and notice how it feels. As you stay here, notice how the body responds. Just notice, no judgment, no trying, just allow yourself this time and space to be. When it is time to be done you will inherently know. Slowly transition into your day.
Connecting with Your Inner Knowing is the quiet stillness and voice beneath the noise. It’s the part of you that already understands what needs to be healed, what needs to be released, and what’s ready to be reclaimed.
When you connect with this inner wisdom, forgiveness becomes less about effort and more about alignment. You’re not forcing yourself to let go—you’re allowing yourself to grow.
💖 Gratitude: The Bridge to Healthier Relationships
The use of white light energy is a simple practice that supports awakening awareness within. Learn to set intention opening pathways for opportunities and growth with thankfulness and gratitude, always in alignment with your desired relationship focusing on awareness and intention. (We are happy to show you how to do this at a deeper level)
Gratitude is the bridge between awareness and transformation. When we’re grateful for our ability to be aware, we soften. We become more receptive to love, to healing, and to connection and can set meaningful intentions.
Energy Practice, give this a try after you connect to your inner knowing Somatic Exercise above: begin the following prompt by surrounding yourself with beautiful white light. Stand tall feet shoulder width apart, take a gentle inhale exhale breath then affirm:
“I am grateful for my awareness. It is the key to healthier, happier relationships.” Thank you and so it is.
